Why did you choose to work for JP Morgan Chase?
I interned for JP Morgan Chase during my Junior year as it is a highly reputable company, with a great management team and a culture that fosters growth and innovation. My internship allowed me the ability to have a leadership role and gave me ample ability to grow my career. I continued on as a full time analyst, hoping to gain more analytical skills and continuing my career journey.
What was the hardest thing about transitioning into full time employment after college?
The hardest challenge between transitioning from college to full time employment is definitely time management. Starting off your career its pivotal to put full focus and effort into your job. The workplace is highly competitive and joining as a fresh analyst requires long hours and a lot of work. Despite this honing your time management skills will enable you to succeed both in and out of the workplace.
What advice do you have for current Eller students looking to follow a similar path?
The main advice I would give for a current Eller student would be to NETWORK,NETWORK, NETWORK. As a proud wildcat alum, I would tell you that I and many other Wildcats are willing to help if you just put the effort and reach out.
